Biography:

​

Ryan is the creator of Dissertation Demystified. Although born to a family of working-class longshoremen, Ryan possesses an international education from the world's top universities in the US, UK, and the Netherlands. He has published research on the development of new grammars in French, Hungarian, and the Kwa languages of West Africa. He has also designed neuro-imaging studies to understand syntactic and morphological processing and prediction. Ryan's 15 years of experience in academic support, instruction, and research consulting lie at the core of Dissertation Demystified. He is passionate about using his expertise in methodology and research design to assist doctoral candidates design impactful, yet feasible studies that advance their professional and academic careers. Ryan created Dissertation Demystified with the goal of empowering doctoral candidates and holding non-traditional doctoral education to a higher standard.

Ryan is an amateur cellist, patron of classical music, chef, mixologist, and a key figure in the Baltimore Polish and cultural community.
